What have I done! It's nearing the end of the semester for me which mean limited time left in London. So I decide to finally go and buy some of the things I had my eyes on at Boots and Superdrug.
- Simple Micellar water: I'm almost out of my bioderma and I needed a replacement, as bioderma is quite expensive (and I have a bottle waiting for me at home), I decided to opt for a cheaper option. This was about 2 pounds I think.
- Barry M angled eyeliner brush- This was I think half price, which came down to 1.49 pounds. I thought it would be good to put powder eyeliner on. The shape of the brush looked well structured.
- Soap and Glory Kickass Concealer- First of all, I seem to have an obsession with soap and glory products, they seem so nice and quite cheap. I got this concealer which I've heard is a dupe for some higher end products. I has two concealers in one and a setting powder.
- Soap and Glory Supercat Liner-I'm always on the hut for a precise black eyeliner. I used this one last night I loved the tip of it. It's quite easy to apply.
Since I spent over 15 pounds on soap and glory products I got the best in the life pack. This had the mascara that I wanted so for me it was worth it. And you also get a blusher and lipstick in it!
- The I heart makeup Parental advisory palette. This palette has 36 different shadows where are all very nice and usable. There are both matte and shimmery shades.
One more thing! This one isn't from Superdrug or Boots but its part of beauty, so I decided to add it. This Nails inc kit from TK maxx! I had the Alexa cashmere nail polish and absolutely adore that. Since it was on sale I decide to buy that too!
What a lot of shopping, I've done! Also Black Fridays sales are happening today/tomorrow and this weekend.
Lots of Love,
Tanya
Part two of my travels around Europe is finally up! I just had too much footage to not do a part two. Hope you enjoy the beautiful sights!
It's actually been too long since I've done an outfit post. Whilst I was in Brighton, I decide to do a quick little shoot of what I wore since I had just brought a new 'winter coat'. It's weird saying that, as I would never buy a coat for winter in Australia. Hopefully this coat will help me brave the London winter. Brighton was such a cute seaside town, it a way in kinda reminds me of the beaches at home. They have cute little colourful huts which were very similar to Brighton in Melbourne. I've also included some pic of Brighton. A vlog of Brighton will be up hopefully by the end of this week!
Beanie: Urban Outfitters
Coat: Zara
Sweater: Topshop
Jeans: American Eagle
Boots: Lipstick
Socks: Primark
I've also included a few pictures of my hundreds of pictures of some of the beautiful places I went to!
I've been away from home now for almost 2 months now, doing some travelling. One of the places I went to the was Paris for a few days. I spent a few days in Paris before doing a tour. Our days in Paris were very long, as there was so much to see and we didn't really have all that much time so we jam packed it with a much as we could! I hope you like the video!
I've finally settled down in one place, so hopefully there will be more footage of my adventures to come!
1. Liberty Island
Liberty island is where the Statue of
Liberty is. In front of you is the statue behind you is New York skyline, both
which are absolutely breath taking. We travelled over by ferry which didn’t
take long, and isn’t too bumpy of a ride. My massive tip for this place is to
RUG UP! There’s a café and a vistor shop there if it all becomes too much. But
it’s such an amazing site that it’s worth braving the cold. So grab your scarf,
beanie and every singlet jacket and layer up!
2. Times Squares
You see in movies and probably the most
popular site when you think of New York. It’s hustling and bustling all day. I
did go at a ‘peak hour’ time which was absolutely crazy. Hold on to whoever is
with you cos you might just loose them that how packed it can get. Everyone’s
moving. But I also went to time square at midnight for a little walk with my
cousins while I was there that was actually really nice, there was few people
walking around, but it was nice seeing Time square ‘quiet’. Also we did some
shopping, yes at midnight!
3. Grand Central
There is a whispering hall which is SO
cool! So one person stands at the opposite end of the square and whispers to
the wall and the other person on the other side could hear quite clearly, which
I was insanely fascinated by. If you’re a gossip girl addict like me just being
in Central station makes you feel part of their world!
After you’ve explored grand central there
is a food hall downstairs this is where I got a shake and a burger and chips
aswell! It was probably my favourite thing I ate. I loved it so much that I
wanted to go to it in vegas (we didn’t unfortunately). The whole package is
slightly sickening so maybe share the shake and chips
Expect to queue for a while. There are
queues outside the that go around the corner. Then once you get in, there’s
queues to go to the escalators then more queues to the lift. So expect some
queues, I think it probably took us an hour maybe abit more to get in (which I
believe is quite short, we went pretty early in the morning). But once you’re
up there, the view is worth the queue, a 360 deree view of New York.
6. Central Park
It so calm compared to the other places in
New York. I only saw one part of the park. You’ll also get to see squirrels as
well if you’re there in the right season. They are so cute!
7. Nom Wah
This is an Asian tea parlour. It does the
best dim sim type food and it’s super busy too. I was definitely very full
after having pretty much everything on the menu. Also Margaret Zhang (one of my
fave bloggers) went to Nom wah about a hour (according to insta) before I was
there but I didn’t even know!
8.Carnegie Deli
So much meat! If you’re ordering one of
their meat sandwich share it! There is a crazy amount of meat in this. By the
end of this meal, I had had enough meat to last me for a while.
9. Eileen's Special Cheesecake
This cheesecake place is amazing. Everyone had one each. Highly recommended it, after doing some shopping in Soho. It's quite a small place so it's more of a take out type of dessert oppose to a sit down.
10. The Met
Met steps. I was on the higher steps just
saying! If you watch Gossip girl you’ll know what I mean. But aside for the
iconic steps, it is beautiful in there. Especially if you love art there are
some insane sculptures and paintings. One of my favourites was the deer made
from glass bauble.
These mainly are the tourist stuff, I had
never been to NYC before that trip so it was only natural that I wanted to see
all the iconic places. It
slightly ironic that I have decided to write this blog post up while being the
air to London. *I've been in London for a while now but I've been super busy and this has been sitting in the draft section ooopss

I went to Splendour this year, and I had such a blast! I decided to put together a little vlog & lookbook. I would highly recommend it if you were ever considering it, the price of the ticket I know sometime seems like a lot but for the artist you get to see, it makes it so worth it! Hope you enjoy it!

Another week of serious MIA, unfortunately! :( All in all I just ended up having a busier week than usual because I had a lot more to do at work and this week is going to be equally as crazy! Since its a bit of a 'short' week, as I'm going to Splendour on Friday!!! I'm super excited and listening to a splendy playlist as I type this up. I might try and get a video up but I'm thinking it might not be possible. But after this week I should have more time! Anyway enough of my babble, I have an OOTD for you all. This is what I'm wearing today.
The last week or so I have been in sweaters pretty much everyday since it was so cold! I was getting a little bored of sweaters so I decided to change it up a bit go for another look, since it's been warm up slightly. I decided go with an all back outfit and throw on my denim top over it. I love this look and it shows off my new favourite belt! Been wearing it pretty much everyday!

It's winter and I'm slightly over wearing jeans! Yes it can get a bit chilly here but it's honestly not freezing even though on some day it feels like it is. The Aussie winter just doesn't get that cold. This season I'm seriously loving the turtle neck and sometime I wish it was colder so I can wear it more often. This is a knit one is by Banana Republic. This one is huge on me, I didn't realise this but they have normal and petite size, this one is the normal but I've also got a petite one in a cream and it fits me so much better. But I just love the turtle neck so much that I can't not wear it, so I tucked it in to make it seem smaller with this beaded skirt by Finder's Keepers. Yes, the beads unfortunately do fall off :( But if you're slightly over jeans for winter, always try a skirt with a top that you always wear, it changes your look up a bit. If you're legs get cold then throw on a pair of stockings and since it's winter, its the perfect time for my favourite footwear, boots!

I'm back with another Mani Mondays..... finally! I don't think I've actually painted my nails since my last mani Monday due to uni. I actually did my nails this morning and I'm quite liking them. I used the Revlon Gel Envy in Up the Ante and OPI's it's frosty outside. I'd thought I would change it up with a statement nail since I haven't done my nails in a while and I quite like the use of a glitter statement nail, since it's super easy! I've never used the OPI glitter before but I'm loving the texture of it. It feels like sand paper but it a cool way.
It's also uni holidays, which means A LOT more time on my hands! I think I'm also going to be youtubing more as well subscribe here if you haven't already!
Lots of Love,
Tanya
I'm just gonna have to stop saying sorry for not posting! Life has just been hectic for me lately! Here's another Makeup Monday:
I've been trying to use up some of my products lately, which I did but then I loved them so much I had to repurchase them. I have a habit of not using all of the products, so for me to actually use it all up is quite rare!
-Bioderma: After I heard that it was all the rave for bloggers, I had to get it and ever since I've been using it. This has been my go to makeup remover/sometime toner in the morning. This just takes everything off your face and leave it feeling clean. Which I think is necessary for bedtime and it's always good to have a nice clean face for applying makeup.
Clinique Moisture Surge: The little sample I had lasted me a few months! I used this everyday now after I use the Bioderma, for me it's the perfect moisturiser. I have quite oily skin and if I apply a cream based moisturiser, I end up super shiny. But this gel formula really sinks into my skin leaving it quite matte.
Anastasia Brow Wiz: I've had this for 4 months and I've used it all up! This is 100% go to eyebrow pencil! The colour I got was perfect for me which I think is why I love it, it makes it look quite natural and well defined. I've used a few other pencil/wind up pencils before and nothing compares to this.
Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat: I think I've talked about this before. If anyone ever paints their nails at night and goes to bed, you end up with little imprints in your nail then this is the product you have to get! It allows the nail polish to dry quicker and protects it for chipping.
Lots of Love,
Tanya
Thank gosh it's getting cooler, cos it means jeans time! Ripped jeans are taking the celeb world by a storm, making them a staple in the wardrobe. Whether it be a slash on the knee or completely destroyed I'm thinking these will be a key item in my wardrobe over the winter (hope you're legs don't freeze up). I brought these while I was away and finally autumn is actually feeling like autumn here! I paired these jeans with a stripe top and some look a like birks for the day. But for the night I paired them with a navy sleeveless top and some heeled boot and I also had a leather jacket for when it was a bit chilly. Which is what I wore to Amplify. I am however looking for a pair of ripped skinny slash at the knee jeans, I hoping to get some over the next few weeks let me know if you know of any nice ones!
This is a super quick and random post as I need to get to uni! Well I don't know if some of you know but there's 40% off makeup at Priceline today and tomorrow which is quite a bit! So I thought I'd share this quick post about my top 5 chemist products to help some of you out!
AC on tour palette
I've had this probably for 2 weeks but I love it! It's kinda a replacement for my Nars (not that you can replace that) but for days when I'm not going anywhere special and just need some contouring or illuminator and I don't want to waste my Nars virtual domination palette! I like the 5th colour for contouring and the I love the 3rd colour as a illuminator. I would say its quite pigmented, I tend to sweep it with a brush then tap it off and then once I've applied it I need to blend otherwise it can be a bit too much! It is also super cheap!
Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat:
I said I needed a top coat yesterday, I will probably most likely repurchase this one. Ever since I've used this my nails have dried faster and there's no marks in it. There's still a bit left in my bottle but I can't seem to get it out and the formular seems to have dried up slightly, but I've had it for maybe a year and kept using it. That's something I'll definitely get unless I find something else.
Maybelline Big Eyes Falsies:
This eyeliner I've talked about a while ago I think. I like that it has two bits to it, one for the top and on for the bottom lashes. I definitely is one of the best chemist mascara's I've used.
Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil:
I have this in black brown, its been with me for ages, lately I have been using the Anastasia eyebrow along with this one, depending on where I'm going. This is my favourite eyebrow pencil for drugstore but my mum prefers a twirl up pen on, if you like those over pencil then grab the revlon one. But I like this one. The colour I've got can go on quite heavy, I've kinda learnt to not apply it too hard by drawing lightly.
Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer:
I think this is probably in everyones chemist makeup kit. It's just so good at concealing or using as a highlighter under the eyes. There's not much to say about it other than it's a fab concealer!
Hope this helps if you're planning on shopping!
Lots of Love,
Tanya
