Formal Event: Bronze to the bone!
18:52
A few little tips I have for an event like this is:
1. Leave yourself enough time! It took me maybe 2-3hrs to get ready in a nice pace. Got my hair done, chilled, did my make up and then put on my dress, got some picture. You don't want to be rushing cos thats when you forget everything and you will a feel a little overwhelmed.
2. Do your hair and makeup before to trial it, I got my hair done so I didn't have to think about that. But if I was to do my hair myself, I'd do it myself once before I tried to attempt it on the night, same goes for my makeup, especially if you're putting on false lashes (that's the hardest)!
3. Have a good night, but know your limits! You're in a gorgeous dress and you don't want to ruin it (that's all I'm gonna say)!
4. Depending what type of spender you are, you may want to set yourself a budget on something like this. Events like this can add up, the ticket, dress, accessories, hair, makeup..... the list seems to be endless. Maybe borrow a dress from a friend then maybe you can get your hair done, things like this can help you save a bit. Maybe you have some accessories that you can wear with it instead of buying new ones.
If you want to know what I was wearing here's the list:
Dress: Esther Boutique (I had to get this taken up!)
Earrings: Lovisa
Cuff: Collette
Shoes: Tony Bianco
Clutch: Portmans
If you want to know how I did my make up it's here
If you want to know how I did my hair-sorry can't help ya! But try a hair donut, it gives a similar effect!
You can't go to one of these event a not go to the Photo Booth, if there is one!
Lots of Love,
Tanya
