I went on a picnic......
20:06A few days ago, I went on a picnic with Kate and Holly! We took some photos, so I thought I might share what we brought for the picnic and what I wore. I always love having a picnic, especially when the sun is out and you've got some good company, it always is a lot of fun for me. It's probably one of my favourite things to do. And it can be done on a budget!
At the picnic we had cupcakes, sushi, chocolates/marshmallow, fruit and coconut water. From what picnic experience I do have, these treats go down well! Here are some other treats which you can make or if you're a bit lazy, buy it:
- Sandwich cut in little triangles
- Chips & Dips
- Refreshments-water/juice/soft drink (alcohol? if it allowed)
- Cheese & Crackers
- Cakes
- Slices
- Scrolls
- Cookies
- mini quiche/pie/sausage rolls
- Fairy Bread
I find it super easy to have a picnic as everyone brings a plate or two and you're all good! Depending on how gourmet you are, you could even include salads, pasta etc if you've got cutlery.
As for outfit choices, I think something comfortable like a day dress, playsuit or shorts! Wear something comfortable especially if you're thinking of playing games like frisbee. Grab some sunnies and this a perfect place to wear a hat, plus a towel or picnic rug to sit on. There you have it, a picnic!
As you can see we pretty much ate everything! It was yum! |
