Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival: Brisbane

To say this week was crazy is probably an understatement! It has been a hectic week for me not only with assignment but I had the opportunity to watch and volunteer at this years Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival. Volunteering was such a wonderful and fun,  I got to meet some lovely people and the staff were also extremely nice. I would highly recommend it for anyone who is considering it for the future.

Watching the shows were amazing, the two shows that I saw were the Monili Jewellers Bridal Show and the Fashion in the City Parade. Both shows had some outstanding designs!

The Bridal show had some breath-taking designs from Wendy Sullivan, Bertossi Brides, Darb Bridal Couture, Rayner Lee, George Wu and Jack Sullivan. Rayner Lee and Jack Sullivan bridal gown were some of my favourites! However, all the design with their intricate detailing were just absolutely beautiful.

The other show, was the Fashion in the City show, this was to showcase the many stores & labels in the CBD area. It had a bit of mixture of higher end label and mass market labels. The labels include Daniel Lightfoot, Longchamp, Darb Couture, Cue, French Connection and Tophshop/Topman. This show was a lot of fun to watch as there were many different type of looks.

Here's the outfit I wore for the Bridal Show, if you wanted to know!

Necklace: H & M
Dress: Mura
Jacket: H & M
Shoes: Robert Robert

Lots of Love,
Tanya

Ps: also love the MBFF logo design by Megan Hess, such a talented illustrator!
